Season format

How the Season Works

Structure

Four events, one trophy

Each WFL event is a team competition — six bouts across three weapons. Bout wins accumulate across the season. The team with the most wins at the Grand Finals takes the inaugural WFL Trophy.

Prize money

$10,000 per bout

Every individual bout winner earns $10,000 on the night. Six bouts per event means $60,000 in individual prizes each event, plus a team bonus for the winning side.

Global reach

LA → NYC → Tokyo → Paris

The WFL visits four world-class venues across three continents. The Grand Finals in Paris — the birthplace of modern fencing — close out the inaugural season in February 2027.
