Event format
How It Works
Structure
Six bouts. Three weapons.
One men's and one women's bout per weapon — foil, épée, and sabre. Each bout is fenced to 5 touches. If teams are tied after 6 bouts, a sudden-death final touch decides everything.
Prize money
$10,000 per bout
Every individual bout winner earns $10,000 on the spot. Six bouts, six payouts, $60,000 in individual prizes — with the remaining $40,000 split among the winning team's athletes.
Technology
Blade tracking live
Rhizomatiks x Dentsu Lab Tokyo blade-tip visualization rendered every touch in AR for the 700,000+ viewers worldwide on DAZN — the most watched fencing broadcast in history.
